Email Suggestion

I’ve also been asked the question “well what do I say in an email”.  This is one that was used by a colleague of mine yesterday which he sent out to his LinkedIn contacts.  Only YOU will know how likely your contacts are to respond positively to this, so please do take it and revise if you think it necessary.

Subject: Can you help my friend (/colleague/associate) raise £400,000 in just 30 days?

A colleague of mine, the author and philanthropist, Linda Parkinson-Hardman, is undertaking a social networking experiment that is designed to:
1. Prove social networking for business works 2. Raise £400,000 (at least) for charity 3. By selling 200,000 copies of her ebook LinkedIn Made Easy
All in just 30 Days!!!!
The majority of the remainder of the monies raised will go straight to The Hysterectomy Association fighting fund to help it really grow and develop into the organisation it should become.
The ebook only costs £4.99 from www.whoselinked.com and it’ll really help you get to grips with the power of LinkedIn and how you can use it develop and grow a business.
It would also be great if you could let any customers, colleagues and associates, that you think may benefit from using LinkedIn, know about the 30 day experiment as well by sending an email or adding it to your literature, facebook / Linked-In / twitter and other status updates.
Many thanks and we will let you know the results of this endeavour.
